About Safely Sun
My name is Sophie and I am a high school student from Connecticut. Staying safe from the sun is a very important topic to me because many people in my family, including my mother and two aunts have suffered from skin cancers like melanoma and merkel cell carcinoma. I have learned that it is super important to start good habits in the sun from a young age. This is why for this blog I aim to target young children that may not fully understand the risks yet. As someone who loves being outdoors, I hope this blog helps educate people and provides a better understanding of how to enjoy the sun safely.
